“The very reason for nature's existence is for the
education of the soul” — Swami Vivekananda
Welcome to Vivid Life Co. My name is Jess.
I am a breath-centred yoga practitioner, bodywork therapist and Masters student in Psychotherapy. I am a passionate student of Eastern and Western traditions, specialising in Taoist Alchemy, Traditional Chinese Medicine and Ayurvedic philosophy. My purpose in life is to learn, teach and connect with others, and I seek to weave an intricate web between meaning and the human experience.
My approach to teaching & personal therapy includes ❊
Holistic Psychology and Dynamic Psychotherapy
Incorporating modern psychological techniques with psychodynamic applications, including psychosomatic therapy, bodywork therapy and bioenergetics.
01
Taoist Psychology and Five Element Theory
A dynamic mix of ancient philosophy from the teachings of Traditional Chinese Medicine. Wisdom that facilitates a wholesome integration of nature into your human experience.
02
Yoga & Meditation Practices and Ayurvedic Philosophies
Various practices that range from restorative yin yoga to dynamic vinyasa, with further incorporations of breathwork and meditation, mobility and flexibility, and spiritual practices that extend into your daily life.
03
Modern Physiology, Embodied Anatomy & Zen Thai Shiatsu
A blend of bodywork therapy and psychosomatic meditations that combine years of personal practice and professional training. Your physical body is the living map of your mental and emotional experience. By working with the physical matrix we are often granted deeper access to the mental and emotional landscape. ‘The way you move is the way you think’ (Gwyn Williams - Zen Thai Shiatsu Master)

Movement,
of both body and mind.
There are various ways you can work with me, ranging from local community classes, workshops & events, private groups and 1:1 training or therapy. For more information, refer to the sessions below or reach out for a discovery call. We can discuss your needs, goals and personal desires, and determine if a shared intention can be cultivated.
(Ongoing Personalised Support)
These are deeply personalised, one-to-one therapy sessions designed to support embodied healing, nervous-system regulation, and meaningful self-development.
Each session is guided by your individualised therapeutic plan, developed through your Initial Consultation and refined as we work together. Sessions may integrate a blend of movement, stillness, touch, inquiry, and reflection — depending on what your system needs on the day.
This work is collaborative, adaptive, and responsive. Some sessions may be more body-based, others more reflective or restorative. The intention is always to meet you where you are — physically, emotionally, and psychologically — and support sustainable change over time.
These sessions are well suited for those navigating:
Stress, burnout, and nervous-system overload
Injury rehabilitation or chronic tension patterns
Addiction recovery and emotional regulation
Trauma, PTSD, and stored emotional load
Ongoing self-development, embodiment, and resilience
Please note:
If this is your first time working with me, please book a 1:1 Initial Consultation before selecting this service. This ensures we take the time to fully understand your needs and design a therapeutic pathway that genuinely supports you.

(Personalised Practice & Ongoing Education)
These one-to-one sessions are designed for students and teachers who are seeking a more personalised, intentional, and educational approach to their yoga practice.
This offering is ideal for those wanting to refine their movement, deepen their relationship to their mind and body, and receive guidance from an experienced teacher and mentor — without entering a therapeutic or clinical framework.
Sessions are tailored to your experience level, interests, and goals, and may include asana, pranayama, meditation, philosophy, and reflective inquiry to support both physical intelligence and inner clarity.
This is a mentorship-style space — supportive, structured, and growth-oriented — where your practice becomes a vehicle for self-awareness, discipline, and integration into daily life.
This is suited for those who:
Want personalised yoga guidance beyond group classes
Are refining their practice or working toward specific goals
Enjoy learning anatomy, philosophy, and/or intelligent sequencing
Want accountability and consistency in their practice
Are interested in self-development through movement and breath
Prefer a deeper teacher–student relationship rather than therapy or group dynamics
Are interested in a deeper yoga education but not ready or interested in Yoga Teacher Training programs

(Online or In-Person)
This is a dedicated one-to-one consultation designed to deeply understand you — your body, your nervous system, your inner world, and what you’re truly wanting support with.
In this session, we take the time to explore your presenting concerns, personal history, lifestyle context, goals, and desires. Rather than offering a one-size-fits-all approach, this consultation allows us to gather a full picture of your life before any program, practice, or therapeutic direction is recommended.
Together, we’ll explore:
Your current physical, emotional, and nervous-system landscape
Patterns of stress, injury, pain, fatigue, or emotional holding
Your relationship to movement, rest, discipline, and recovery
What you’re moving away from — and what you’re moving toward
Your short- and longer-term goals for practice, wellbeing, and personal growth
This session forms the foundation for any ongoing work together. From here, I will design a detailed and tailored program or support pathway that may integrate yoga, somatic therapy, nervous-system regulation, breathwork, philosophy, and embodied practices — depending on your individual needs.
This is not a rushed intake or quick assessment — it is a spacious, collaborative conversation designed to create clarity, direction, and safety. You will walk away with a comprehensive analysis of where you ARE and a detailed assessment of where we could GO.

Beautiful words,

“My sessions with you are so important to me and I treasure them, each and every time. The main reason why my yoga has improved so much is because of all the new methods you offer to move and feel our bodies. I could go on and on but all I really want to say is…you are incredibly talented and yoga lives very deep inside of you. Namaste”
— Anonymous
“Jesska makes every session feel like it’s fuelling you — not just physically, but also emotionally and spiritually. Thank you so much for your teachings”
